B. Livestock Market
Bronllys Road
Talgarth has always been famous for its livestock markets, once held in the central town square, the Livestock Market is now located on Bronllys Road and retains Talgarth's tradition as a market town.

Bronllys Road
Once a part of the adjoining 18th Century Great House Farm, this red brick barn with its many dovecotes is now home to a small business centre. The yard of which is home to the Food Festival.

Hay Road
The Church Hall of St. Gwendoline is located on Hay Road, just off the Town Square.

The Square
Opened in 1878, with it's memorial clock tower added in 1887 in celebration of Queen Victoria's Diamomd Jubilee, this Grade II listed building lies in the heart of Town.

High StreetOriginally the site of Talgarth's Swan Hotel, this open space in the centre of town is host to the Festival's day time live music.

Bell Street
With Medieval and Elizabethan features, the historic Bell Hotel is host to the Horticulture Show and Poetry Competition. Located close to the centre of town.

Bethlehem Chapel
School Lane, off Hay Road
Opened in 1880 this atmospheric chapel has many interestign features.

Travelling by Train
The nearest railway stations are located in Abergavenny (17 miles), Hereford (27 miles) and Builth Road (16 miles). Hereford provides links to London, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham etc. See Links
Travelling by Bus
There are regular bus services to/via Talgarth from Hereford, Brecon
and Abergavenny run by various bus operators.
National Express run services to/from the nearby towns of Brecon, Abergavenny, Hereford and Merthyr Tydfil, connecting some of the major settlements in the UK.Satellite Navigation/Multimap etc.

Car Parking
At present car parking is free and available at:
1) Main Festival Car Park, High Street
2) Secondary Car Park, Livestock Market, Hay Road
3) Further Car Parks are under review for 2010.
Coaches and HGVs are advised to park in the designated spaces in the Main Festival Car Park.
Overflow/contingency car parks will be provided if necessary, look out for signage.
Cycle Parking
Cycle parks are located in The Square, next to Talgarth Cantonese and at the Main Festival Car Park.
Disabled Access
Disabled parking spaces are located in the Main Festival Car Park and in the the Church Hall (Hay Road) Car Park.
Most venues have wheelchair access but if you require any assistance on site, please ask a steward.
Disabled Toilets are located in the Town Hall. A RADAR key is available from Talgarth Information and Resource Centre.Facilities
A cash machine is located in the Town Square.

The Box Office will be located in the Town Square.

There are a wide range of hotels, B&Bs, farmhouses, bunkhouses, holiday cottages and caravan & camping sites all within a few minutes from the centre of Talgarth and the Festival. Some local accommodation providers can be found on the Links page.
